hello everyone I recently bought an evo 8 with 76k miles. I think it is burning some oil. When I push on the gas a little smoke comes out of the exhaust. Im not sure where to start I heard getting a little filter for the pcv can help but im not sure

Color of smoke?

 

it was white smoke

 

White smoke means coolant / water being burnt. Check your head gasket.

Also there are many threads on the forum which speak of the same subject. Literally more than 100 threads about this.

But yes, check your head gasket and check to see if your coolant level decreases unusually.
