Ive searched and most say to cap the line from the turbo j-pipe, but I swear Ive never done this with my ebc installed and its always worked fine.

Right about the time I get to 14psi, I get a lot of air escaping through the wga can. If I pinch the line going to the wga, it stops.

Is this normal? Should I have to cap the line from j-pipe?

Yes. It was leaking out the can. All of the "How to Boost Leak Test" write-ups say to plug the boost signal line. So you'd never know if the can was leaking. But I had never done that since installing my bcs and never had this problem. Definitely does not leak out of the oem ix actuator that I have. I gained close to 40whp/30wtq (VD) after swapping actuators yesterday... And now I have full control over the boost curve.
