Broke TCase..Front Diff?

A few weeks ago, I broke something when I launched my 03 Evo 8. Drained all the fluid (Drain bolts and fluid had metal in it) and pulled the tranny thinking that was the issue for my car not moving. I stripped every single spline on a piece in the TCase with the Tranny's output shaft (SEE PIC) Pulled a magnet full of metal shavings out of the TCase input side. I am looking to the forum to see if I stripped the input bearing, the splines of the front diff, or the case that contains the diff and is the ring to the pinion?. Do I need to replace the whole diff or can individual parts be replaced? Thanks for the help guys

You could possibly answer the questions yourself . If the t/c housing & body isnt cracked, broken, etc. I don't see why you cant rebuild the internals &/or parts surrounding it, if I'm saying it in the correct manner... While its open, I recommend or otherwise imho would replace everything in t/c.You probably could rebuild the housing, but I'm sure it will cost as much as a second hand entire t/c... If worse comes to worse, got to do what you go to do :P

Probably damaged the spiders themselves in the front diff, seen that before. Way more likely than the ring and pinion causing the whole driveline to lock.

Regardless, there's something wrong in there, I'd just pull it apart and check.
