Leaking oil from the oil pan skid pad??

Alright, I was planning on sending my oil pan to buschur to get modified to install the baffles. Then someone posted a buschur oil pan for sale with low low miles(500ish) I said hell why not to save time.

I took it to a local shop since Ive been busy and they installed it. Great. Pick up my car drive then I notice some spots. Assumed it was leaking from the top. Took it back to the shop and they confirmed its leaking from what appears to be the skid plate on the oil pan.
I went by and checked it out, well its dry from up top and leaking right around the skid plate.

What in the world could cause this? We assumed that maybe one of the welds on the inside broke from the baffle and it cause it to make a small hole behind the skid plate. So it appears the skid plate is leaking, Has anyone ever seen this before? I'm planning on removing it and hopefully finding a broken weld and repairing it.
The seller and I have already contacted each other and he assures me it wasn't leaking before.

Any one familiar with this issue? Also it is NOT leaking from the drain plug.

Dry up top

I bought one second hand.

This happens when you jack up the motor from the pan.

The spot weld breaks.

I'd pull it, hot tank it and have it re welded inside.

I was going to say the spot welds tend to rust and then it begins to leak from the space between the skid plate and pan itself, it's happened to me before. But this one looks brand new! Why someone would jack the car up there, the world may never know. ?.?

Pull the pan, and have a competent welder TIG the plate to pan the whole way around. Problem solved...
