Tomei Evo Vii

Hello everybody,

I am writing this post to say "Thanks!" to Boost Solutions! The company that helped me put my one of a kind EVO VII together. George and Andy at Boost Solutions did a great job at choosing the right parts for my car.

I already had ordered my Greddy T67-25g (10cm housing) Kit and Greddy RSPL Intercooler, but George recommended me to replace my Tomei Poncams with Tomei Procams (very high 11.5mm lift resulted in very fast spoolup), to do all new Tomei Springs, Tomei Retainers, Tomei Headgasket, Greddy Type-R BOV, AEM EMS Standalone, HKS 1000cc Injectors, BJs Intake Manifold, Custom Fuel system, etc etc.. Many many more things..

Initially he recommended to me to go with the Autronic standalone, but since the AEM came out, and we had problems getting an Autronic to me, since I am in a different country (Bahrain, in the Middle East, Autronic does not want to sell to me) he took the responsibility to make me an adapter harness
for the EVO VII, and tune it based on my mods. That is what I call EXCELLENT customer service!!!

George helped me on my fuel system configuration as well, on wiring all my electronics, including the MAP sensor and the IAT sensor for the AEM. He was even nice enough to snap pics of how the wires and plugs looked like, and then emailed them to me, saying what goes where (do not forget the 8 hour time zone difference between the US and Bahrain, he was helping me on the phone even late at night).

He helped me rewire the car for the MAP sensor, since the EVO VII does not have a MDP sensor like the US spec EVO VIII, to be replaced by the MAP sensor. He was with me on the phone making sure that the initial startup of the car went smooth and as planned.

Not many tuner shops will do that, especially if their customer are thousands of miles away!!!

All I can say is that Boost Solutions is a VERY knowledgeable shop, and really want to thanks them for helping me fulfil my dream in having one of the fastest EVOs in the Middle East.

Not ony they have excellent prices, but also they go the extra mile to keep their customer satisfied.

Now it is time to put in some break-in miles, finish my fuel lines and pump upgrade, and then we will retune for 28psi and nitrous.

What is next? Probably a HKS T04Z ball bearing (or probably I should not listen to George)

George: You made the impossible possible for me! Thanx a lot!!!

Hassan

I am glad we got it running nicely. I am extremely happy that we went with the AEM vs Autronic. The Autronic would have been a lot harder to tune, becaus eyou have to play a bit more with a the engine setup.

Now we need some good pictures of your beast.

I already have the Tomei System-1 ECU, and now I want to buy their 262/262 PonCam as well. Is my System-1 Ecu compatible with the PonCam? Do I need cam gear? What sort of gain will I get?
