I really enjoy the power I'm getting from my car right now, about 400 to the wheels. It's my daily, so I really don't wanna do too much more to it. I was wondering though, is there a top mount kit for a stock IX turbo? I'm just trying to add a little more flare to my car.

Im sure toxicfab could make you one for a pretty penny. I dont believe there are any companies that make an off the shelf one. And the o2 housing may pose a problem with fitment.

Ya the top mount FR manifold and little EFR with IWG and the recirc BOV built into the compressor is a thing of beauty. Of course transient response and state of the art blade geometry is a bit beyond "flare" but you'll get your 400hp almost as quick and for longer if done right. $$$

 

I don't think he's looking to change his turbo... He's happy where he's at in terms of power. He just wants a top mount kit for a stock evo 9 turbo, and for that, I have to agree with evolve and demon.

 

Didn't know anyone actually made a "purchasable" top-mount kit. I've seen a few before but they've all been custom fab from shops

But again, with the top-mount you're also replacing the downpipe, relocating coolant hoses and a few other things, etc., etc.

Lots of pointless work (in my opinion) just so people can see your stock snail

Pretty sure you can't get one with a stock frame turbo. The system as a whole is much larger than big turbos.
