oil light lifter tick

Ived owned 3 Evos....

All have had issue with the oil pressure sensor so this was ignored. Car had a lifter tick at 3000 rpm which then was heard at 2500 1500 and idle. Oil light was flashing but dimming out.

I thoughr the worst and thought the bottom end was shot eventually. We check the oil and there is zero metal in the oil. We take off the valve cover and all lifters are dead. Has this happened to anyone?

Sounds like bad things are going on. Pull the pan and inspect the bottom end.

Pull a couple of camshaft bearing caps and make sure the metal isn't galling. The bottom end likely did not starve for oil, but maybe the top end has. You don't want to assume it's okay without checking it out.
Hope they're in good shape.

That would cause low oil pressure! Glad you found the issue. Hopefully it was before any damage happened.
