But, when I do get logs or retune I will come back to this thread and let you all know the outcome. Even though i'm pretty sure we all know what the outcome is.

Sounds like your cam timing could be off or the valves not sealing properly. The e85 alone should have given you a bit more tq and hp with the added timing and boost capability. Erkel lol. Just go to STM man. Good guys up there for real and they help me with everything and anything I have ever needed and are very knowledgeable.

Wouldn't he have picked that up? OR at least notice it?

Also wouldn't that make it run horribly. We were running it to 8k rpms several times with no issues

If there were timing issues and sealing issues I don't think it would be running nicely, especially during WOT...

I hit 110 WOT multiple times. Everything checks out fine except for a high idle

The cam could be retarded a few degrees and not really be a problem. This would show up as more low end torque and less high end HP. Speculation at this point is kinda moot though, get it to a good tuner. Document / save everything you have from the previous shop in case you wanna get legal.

instead of continually posting and not giving us anything to work with go out and get a cable, download ecuflash and evoscan. log the car and report back to us.

check the car over. boost leaks, cam/engine timing like everyone is saying. maybe its your car and not E SPEC. maybe it is. no one can say for sure until you do what these guys are asking you to do.

if you need a hand drive the car to my house. i have everything and we can check it over if you do not have the money to buy what is needed or know how to do it.

Take evodan up on his offer.

I've read the whole thread from my phone, so I may have missed it, but what were the boost levels, AFR and timing for pump and e85?

I tell my customers that info. I send them logs if they want it. My intellectual property is in how I get it to run the way I get it to, not in the logs.

This tread is full of win. What a nice way to wake up on a Sunday morning.

I'll be more than happy to send you your logs today.

Good luck with your car, we hope you find out what's wrong with it.

the evo X's they tune do not match dyno/track times. nor do they sound like they are running clean down the track.

IMO go to STM. they are a well rounded group of guys and will at least help you figure out your issue if its mechanically related.

What I can comment on is that if you live in upstate NY there should be no question as to where you take your Evo to. Emery is probably one of the top Evo tuners in the country and Austin and Cory are some of the best techs for these cars in my opinion. I know it's comparing apples to oranges but my stock engine, stock turbo e85 Evo X made 380/393 on their dyno. Your car should make similar power I would think as the 9 turbo is better. There is either something mechanically wrong, or it's tune related, or a combination of the 2. It might cost you some money for the guys to check it out but in the long run I'd consider it money well spent if it saves you a motor or head or any combination of the 2. 585-226-8226. Figured I'd save you the hassle of looking up the shop number

Thanks for the kind words. I'm sure he could use your assistance.

A big help would be to get some logs of the car so we can see exactly what is happening.
Thanks for the positive input. The car was a bit choked up after 5500rpm. We tried explaining the different options he had to free up some power, and also explained a few other possible issues. Instead of calling us to discuss further this thread was created.

I'll leave a few links for the op to read through.

My wife's yellow evo made 355hp on our dynodynamics dyno.
