after MBC install

i have a hallman MBC ordered. kind of a dumb question but i cant find any answers to my question. when installing the hallman do i leave the oem electronically connected, and only move the hoses? or disconnect it completely? i am asking because i am not sure if disconnecting it will throw a check engine light code.

leave it connected, make sure to run a new vacuum line because the stock one has a boost pill which will restrict the boost level

Why would you need the factory boost/vacuum hoses if you are going to install an MBC?

dump the factory boost/vacuum hose assembly in the trash. Run a new 4mm hose from your boost reference source to the bottom port on your MBC and second hose from the side port om your MBC to th e WGA nipple. Done
