are any Evo VIII's running this IC kit?

http://www.turbohoses.com/evo_viii.htm. After I tore down and inspected my Injen intake and upper/lower ic piping - Buscher street core ic setup, i realized that the injen products are absolutely ****ing garbage. Nothing fits properly and now my ic inlet is all chewed up from butting up against the lower ic pipe, it's really fubar'd. I dont want to think about the filings/chunks of aluminum that went into the engine and the destruction that caused. Sorry for the rant. However, if it helps anyone else from installing that crappy kit and going through this, then it's not in vain. Anyway does anyone have any impressions or user reviews. i know that usually you get what you you pay for (Injunk), but just seing those prices on turbohosed.com make my butt sore.

Turbohoses makes top notch stuff. They don't advertise on here so maybe that's why they aren't so popular. Whats nice is that their intercooler uses the same mounting points, using the stock rubber dampeners even. Your getting a bar and plate version of the oem intercooler. It looks the same dimensionally so it would be interesting to see some back to back testing.

With that said, there are other options that are better cost wise that still perform very well. I think some vendors on here may even have bar and plate intercoolers that are larger for cheaper. The only advantage I see with the turbohoses version vs ETS or VRSF, is if its something where you absolutely wanted oem fit.
