Arrow HKS spacers to replace the MAS

I had my HKS suction intake when I had the AEM installed. Since the AEM can work without the MAS, it was left out of the installtion (it's just another air flow blockage ). Anyway, without the MAS the filter ends up too close to ther intake horn so an spacer is needed. The first one was a straight piece of 4" dia aluminum tube. Very light and shiny, but it placed the filter in an awkward position....

What kind of engine management are you running that you don't need a MAS?

AEM EMS with the right option. I'm reading manifold pressure...

Anyway, I was not happy with the position of the filter so I went looking for a solution.... I found a 45° 4" dia bend and had it cut to what I guessed was a good length. I went to the car I tried it. Voila! it fit easily and well. Here is a picture..

Anyway, the bend is made from steel. It's not as light as the aluminum for sure, but I doubt that it weights more than a few ounces. Aluminum would be nicer I think, but the price is very much higher....
