looking into cams for my evo 8

Hello everyone I have been lookin into getting cams for my evo 8 but I have a few questions that I'm a little unsure of first. I do drive my evo everyday so does it affect drivability alot. What are a good set of cams for daily driving and is there really that much of a power gain with them or should I be thinking about putting my money else where. Thanks in advance for the help

Lets start ya off on the right path.
Please post all mods that are on the car & what is the end game for this car. Daily, AutoX, 1/4 mile, track runner? The more info & honest you are the better the responses can be.

Back on topic, generally a 272 cam would be sufficient for whatever you're looking for in terms of power and drivability.

So GSC S2s, Kelford 272s, JUN 272 etc...

Most everyone goes with the GSC S2 nowadays just because they seems to minimize spool loss and gain extra power everywhere else.

I have seen 280 duration cams used on daily drivers, but a 272 may be a little more civilized.

I have 264s I think maybe the smallest aftermarket cams you could run lol. I daily drive my car no issues. You could run bigger cams I think it would still be a good DD.
