I have the map oil feed kit and the head plug it came with seems to be too long. Anyone else have this issue? I threaded it in by hand and it stops while there is still a decent gap. Don't wanna wrench too hard on it since the head is aluminum. Any input?

 

Mine was also to long. They sent me a replacement. The replacement wouldn't even thread. Like the starter thread wasn't catching. I said screw it and bought a new plug from Mitsubishi and haven't had and problems since.
