Had found some slight leakage past a few of the exhaust valves. Cleaned the seats and re lapped them. All sealed up now. Installed the proper oem gasket and hard piping. Car ran amazing right away. Took it to get tuned and that's what was wrong with it. Now it's tuned to 400 whp 376 tq @ 26 psi. Just glad to finally get the thing fixed right. Thanks for all of your help guys.

This was a good thread. Glad you got there. I've got my car in the shop at the moment getting a lot of work done and I'm hoping to be in the 400s.

All I know is that I checked everything too. And I was stumped till I finally broke down and pulled the head off to check and make sure I didn't have anything wrong with it. That's how I found the super thick head gasket that was installed. Once that was replaced, she ran like a whole new car with the new setup. I'm sure the hard upper intercooler piping I installed helped, but not 90whp. My tuner couldn't get me anywhere close to my output now, before I did this. So if all else fails, if you have the time and the means, pull the head and go through it. If all the rest of your setup is good, that's where all the magic happens, need to make sure the stage is set correctly. Good luck!!
