for 450 I'm going to say FP Red, but it won't be "instant spool"

ATP's newer GTX bolt-on stuff would be better than their old inferior designed housings.

The HTA FP Green on e85 hits hard with a fantastic amount of torque under 4k RPM, but I wouldn't run it hard like that alot on a stock block.

Go with a BBK-B ball bearing with the ported hotside on the stock compressor housing. I will post a link below where one person found the BBK-B BB superior to the HTA Green. However, it was compared to the older journal bearing HTA Green… So take it with a grain of salt.

I can attest that you must look absolutely stock in CA. So the ATP stuff and even the stock appearing turbos with a antisurge housing is pretty risky if the cop sends you to the smog referee. Not worth it at all…

I would advise against the ATP stuff. I know first hand about the Stock Location ATP GTX3071R and I will link you to my results. Remember this is on a Mustang Dyno so numbers are lower than the normal Dynojet. I just think that for how much power it makes, it should spool faster.

I say go with a FP Green on E85 or a FP Red if you only have pump gas available. Some of the other options like the EF and BBK series are probably good as well. I'm just going on my own personal experience with the ATP stuff and from what I've seen of the FP Stock Frame Turbos.

this was my plan for "450"

Fp green
Kelford 272
Full turbo back exhaust
3 port boost solenoid
APR head Studs
ETS Intercooler Kit
Forged Recirculating BOV
Walbaro 255
FIC 1000cc
e85
around 25-28 psi

sound good or any suggestions?

will need bigger injectors and other than that your good to go, you will need retainers and springs for the kelfords to get the most out of them and you will be on more boost than that, i was on about 28psi on my green on 93 octane and was about 410hp

that would do it, but I would warn you the green is laggier than the stock turbo, In my experience the green is great for a street evo, but anything like autox or short technical roads, tracks, connected corners. The green is a hair too big.

try to also consider a bbk full or hta71, both will hit 450 on e85 and have less lag than a green since they both have less rotating weight.

E85 and a BBK Full will get you to 450
