We do have a number of great tracks around here. The other downside of the dump I forgot about is Laguna. My current set-up is 90.8dB which means I can run at any event. That's what's kept me from trying the Road Race Engineering / English style exhaust cutout.

I hadn't thought about welding something to allow for the stock heat shield. It's pretty buried in there though, do you think someone would be able to see it if it's flat black?

Invidia is huge, I don't recommend it for anyone under 400whp, its a pia to install, o2 sensor needs to be extended as well.

Even with the heat shield in place you could catch a glimpse of the o2 housing if you knew what to look for. Smog guy missed it though. Painting black + heat shield would be invisible.

For me the heat shield is as much about protecting the AC compressor & PS pump as anything.
