Rod bolts loose and piston hit the spark plug tip ,be sure pull out the oil pan and check the rod bolts before install new spark plugs.

Wow, was this the engine at 51psi and 125 shot nitrous?

Here is what I have seen happen, first who tuned it?

I have seen a cylinder get hot and detonate so bad that it burnt the ground strap off the plug, the metal bounced around in the cylinder before getting caught by the valve trying to close. This in turns breaks the valve causing it to drop into the cylinder. At this point the valve gets pounded to death between the head and piston ultimately putting a hole in the piston and destroying the engine.

I have also seen this happen when people install bigger cams w/o checking clearances after the fact before running the engine.

#2 doesnt look burned up so I'd presume the tune was okay and this was hardware failure of some kind. What rpm was it at when it failed?
