lol. i thought the same. kinda hard not to think this when "model" is mentioned.

rest of the story was entertaining. i can identify a bit with not being able to determine the issue. my exhaust cam position sensor recently went bad in the middle of testing some new injectors and rom mods. first time experiencing that sensor going bad, so i had no idea it was the issue and spent considerable time thinking that i had a bug in my patch, or there was something wierd with the injectors, or the maf had gone bad.

Dang! I hate that. Working on something when something else breaks.

Just after installing my gauges the car won't start. How the heck did I screw up a simple wiring job? Answer: the battery died. But I beat myself up for a half an hour.
Derrrrrr!

I feel your pain. I usually overlook things when i'm tired. Like breaking an oil feed banjo bolt on the head or not realizing it would of been easier to bolt in the oil return line before installing the turbo. After being plagued with silly problems caused by myself I'm ready to give up the ego and seek professional help with future turbo installs. Currently installing a BBK turbo and have had problems up the yin yang. Cookies would be totally awesome now with a glass of milk.

I like this a lot. Possibly the most meaningful automotive forum post i've ever read.
