I've got a blown case with 11k and a bad clutch at 9k, and my starter froze last weekend with 11.5k. What's next? Time for mitsu to step up to the plate. Guys and girls, even if you aren't experiencing these problems, you must step up to the plate, and help out those who are having problems and take action, you could be next. This is total BS paying 30k for this type of car with these inherent problems. I could have got the G35 coupe with nav for less, strapped a S/C on it and called it a day with the luxo factor. What the hell mitsu north? The ratio of cars sold and failures is becoming to high.

I have some people on the inside of Mitsu I got the whole rundown on our car . We are the guinea pigs on many aspects of this car. Transfer case is a known problem inside Mitsu. I checked and I have met the criteria for a lemon law fix. Do not really want to go that route, would rather the car fixed and move on.

Substantial how? Everyone knows we got shafted . I have experienced every evo from the EVO III no problems . We have an untested transfer case in our car.

With all honestly, mods to my car include
HKS EVC 5 set to 21lbs
Greddy Emanage, not dialed in, ie; installed but not tuned.
HKS RS KIT
Forge Recirc valve
UR Turbo back
NX Wet shot UNUSED, you must believe me
ACT basic clutch kit
my transfer case died
my clutch died
my starter froze this weekend
What's next?
I don't know. I've never raced my car, believed that when I had the car setup to my standards, that I would let it shine. I never got the chance because of my transfer case. I was sad and let down, I can't relay to the skeptics to how I treated my car. It was a daily driver, to and from boston. Thats it. I didn't abuse the car. I did run about 50 whp over stock, but does that warrant a failed clutch, a failed transfer case, and a frozen starter? I don't think so. I used a reputable shop, that has ultra fast supra's fast eclipses and so on. I'm really heart broken about this car.

Duc I feel your pain. I am some around 330whp now since my last mods update. 3rd transfer case in a month and now clutch. Clutch does not matter since I was replacing it anyway but what if I wasn't how pissed would I be. $30K heartache

I'm starting to regret buying this car and hoping that the troubles will not show up.

I don't know why have not learn from the eclipse mistakes. If this car is anything like the 1 and 2G eclipse be ready to forge big $$$$$$ for TC, tranny, clutch, etc

Guys and Girls, I know the morals of factory warrantys and such. I replaced my clutch with my own unit and money, I refuse to accept that the transfer case died due to my own negligence. I've put power to wheels on far less substantial vehicles than the evo and they're drive trains held up fine, for thousands of miles, like 50k + 11k blown trans cases are not acceptable on daily driven, non raced 50 + whp cars. Period.

I agree completely. The clutch I expected and am more than willing to replace/upgrade on my own money but this transfer case is bull****
