There are a zillion posts like this, but sorry here is another.
I have had my evo about a month and it is time to add some parts. I do not want to replace the clutch until it goes.
The following is the list I want to start with. I want to do these mods at the same time. This is my daily driver and I am in NM which means 6000' and 91 octane fuel.
Any feedback on these mods appreciated. If there is a better suggestion I'd appreciate that as well.
RMR 3" Down Pipe.
HKS cat back
RT Cat
Not sure which air intake... (apex cone???)
Not sure if I want a flash or XEDE or SAFC.
There are no AWD dynos around so i think the xede is a possibility.
MBC not sure which one or how much boost.
may change intercooler/piping later.

Personally I like the following but it really is all up to the person purchasing:
- AMS 3" Turboback
OR
- Buschur Racing 3" Turboback w/magnaflow muffler
- Highflow cat (included with the TB Exhaust)
- K&N Pannel or K&N Cone (doesn't really matter much)
- The XEDE is way better then the S-AFC (I had the S-AFC and dumped it) but also look at the TurboXS UTEC and the Dynoflash units, all 3 of those are really good!!!
- Won't need the MBC or an EBC if you do the XEDE or the UTEC. They both control boost on their own. If you do a S-AFC or the Dynoflash....I have a home made MBC that only cost like 15 bucks to make BUT I am looking at the TurboXS Dual Stage so I can switch the settings IF I go with a flash and not a UTEC or a XEDE unit.
- Buschur Racing IC Piping if you don't mind moving your battery to the trunk or using a smaller one upfront. WAY less bends and better air flow!!!

I didn't think about the xede eliminating the need for an external boost controller.
I think I'm sold on the XEDE. I've read a few posts on it and it sounds like a pretty good option.
I think I've also decided on the RMR Down pipe.
Now I just need to pick out an exhaust, cat and intake...
