That is why I went with Road Race Engineering on my exhaust so I can still swap between the test pipe and factory cat converter...good luck with that custom test pipe.

^^ exactly, support those that support us.

Exactly, I understand business and I understand the Evo market does not make them a 1/4 of what the GTR market can, but you still should not turn your back on those that have supported you. AMS is not the huge shop they are without the evo / dsm community.

I personally will not run any of their parts on my car. I only support those that support us.

I noticed this too. They discontinued their staged upgrades for the VIII/IX, their turbo kits and probably some other products that were once offered. Too bad because I think they make great quality parts and they had great service whenever contacting them.

Fortunately for us there are other great companies who I think will continue to offer a wide range of quality Evo parts for some time: ETS, STM, RRE, Buschur, etc.

If it's true then not an AMS fan anymore. There are other tuners out there. The original buschur, STM, etc comes to mind.

Sell it and get an ETS kit. Michael still supports the platform 100%.

There are two sides to the coin. It's likely that demand for their evo related products dropped off so it didn't make financial sense to keep producing them.

Seems weird that they would just ditch the Evo platform. Money is money, so if there's still demand for the Evo parts that they've already designed, then it doesnt make much sense to discontinue producing the parts.

ditto everyone else's sentiments on here. probably how the 240's felt when ams dumped them too. they're riding the "corporate" ladder and don't care what bridges they burn to get there

Keep in mind that they are running a business and if there was still a reasonable profit in producing the evo stuff they would probably still do it. If it's a drain on money and resources then as a business they have to ditch it. They'd be no use to anyone if they were bankrupt....
