It is safe to use meth injection as a street daily driver? Do i need a failsafe gauge or it is possible to run without it? Thanks..

 

I suggest you do a lot of research before you go meth. Look into aquamist they have a lot of fail safes. I would not recommend going meth without fail safes that's how you engine goes boom

 

Ohh thanks. But i heard the aem meth kit have a fail safe integrated or something light that and indicates low fluid, error codes etc

 

How many times a day you figure you WOT your DD?
Also the failsafe, by the time the failsafe kicks in, it's to late!

 

meth sucks. you become a slave. like mr. evo said. if you use a failsafe to cut your boost solenoid its generally so slow the fat lady has sung.

 

I've had meth and got rid of it. Not worth the trouble, I just want to pour gasoline and be done with, don't have to worry about another fluid.

I remember when we went HPDE'ing, me and my buddy, by that time I removed the meth and was pure gas, he had meth + 3 gallon tank in the trunk. His car gulped so much of it, that by the end of first day he was low. So we had to drive around the town and find more for the next day, and only got lucky at NAPA store just because some guy orders drums with them and hasn't come in to pick it up for couple of weeks so they had it and sold it to him.

It was pure meth and he was 50/50 tuned, so he still had to find distilled water and mix it. It's a pain and a headache, if you live your life 1/4 mile at the time, I guess it maybe worth it, but if you stay at WOT often (track days) then forget it, I think his was tuned to start injecting at 10psi of boost.
