Norris Designs Supercharger for Evo 4-9

Saw this earlier and it caught my eye. It's definitely interesting and different. Just check out that powerband. It didn't say what Evo it was, all it said was it has a 2.2L motor with a Garrett GT4088R at 2.4bar on 97 octane.

Very interested in having this setup in the future. Just wondering how much stress would be put on the rod bearings and drivetrain after making this much tq this early.

Supercharger for evo sounds great. I would think norris design would highly likely recommned for built motor only.

The bearings are still gonna take a beating even with a built motor.

torque at low rpm is easier on everything than torque at high rpm. rpm is always the enemy. lots of new cars out that make big tq as low as 1500rpm. not a problem at all.

good to see norris offer a bolt in kit. my guess is in will be north of 8000 and will only include the super charger parts to add to your turbo kit.

I just saw a picture of what appears to be a prototype, and it consumes the entire engine bay.

Looks like an Eaton m90. Not sure though... In that pic it also looks like a turbo/supercharger setup.

You sure that isn't the US one from Colorado that was floating around in ~08?
That pic is of a LHD Evo, Norris's ones will most likely be RHD.

Pretty sure but not 100%, it was Norris' customer car, not his own, built in ~2011
