2.4 and 6266 Question. .

Hey...

I Am from dominican republic , here the pump gas octane is 91... Finding e85 and 93 Is to expensive.. So im sticking to 91 pump for me...

Rigth now im building a 2.4 engine

4g64 block
All arp hardware
Crower steel rods
9.0.1 or 9.5.1 wiseco 1400hd (not sure of what comp ratio i will use)
Stock head/crower valve train and comp cams 280...

6266 journal bearing top mount setup...

I want to archieve 450 awhp with 20 PSI or 21... So my question Is what i have to do to archieve my goal with 20 or 21 PSI with 91 octane...???

Help me please

I would invest in some S3 (instead of the comp cams) and a Magnus IM. This should allow more efficiency in your setup, equaling more power per pound of boost.

I am in Jamaica using 90oct making 430hp on 19 psi. 2.4LR 10:1 comp, stock head with kelford 272 and a bushur ported IM. Cast t3 manifold with gtx3076, ets 3.5 IC running a haltech sport 1000 tuned by pufwerks.

I would use GSC R2 cams. Will work better with the lower revving, "large" displacement 2.4.

They are old style dished pistons not flat top, but yes 10:1. the most boost i have run on 90 is 27psi. that made around 480. I have run e85 at about 35psi and made 616
