Well finally got her into with the professionals.(boostin performance)..
It came to be that the fuel pump was turning off intermittently
So it would shut the car off.
They Hard wired the fuel pump and she works as good as new.

Having the same problem. Car(2010 GSR) is stock aside an AP which is set to a map that supports the Cobb air filter - it’s been like this for 3 years. I uninstalled the AP and reset the ECU - still not working. Car runs fine without the MAF plugged in. I replaced the MAF sensor and still shuts off only when plugged in. Have had 3 mechanics look at it and could not fix it. Had the fuel pump and wiring checked but no dice...The readings are way off in my AP, for example, the car reads it’s @ 3 rpms when the car is not even running and getting 3psi when boosting. The car does not feel like it has lost any power. I am at the Mitsubishi dealer replacing the ecu and that did not solve it. Mitsubishi can’t figure it out and about to give up. It’s been 2 months of trying to diagnose this thing. Any advice? Again, the car is currently bone stock.

Thanks

**UPDATE**

It ended up that some critters had chewed through some of the wires in the ECU's wiring harness. Took a long time to figure out but happy to get it fixed!
