Hey everybody,

I had a few questions for you guys/gals about a fuel pump. Specifically the Walbro 255. I was considering getting this for my 03 Evo 8. First is can it run e85 with just the pump?Everything else it stock. Will it need a tune immediately after I install it? If I don't get a tune is it bad for the car? Finally if I have say a 1/4 tank of 91 pump gas and want to get e85 and mix it all together is that ok or does the fuel tank have to be almost completely drained before adding e85? Thanks for the help beforehand! I'm sure those were all stupid questions but I don't want to go modding my car without knowing the possibilities of my actions.

 

You don't need a tune after you install wally.yes you can run on e85 with this pump.for the very first tune on e85 you need to remove 91 completely.in the future if you are on 91 and need to put e85,when your low fuel light comes on its safe to add e85.never tried to add e85 with 1/4 tank of regular gas.for e85 tune you need 255lph pump and minimum 1000cc injectors.its all from my experience ,others may say differently .
