I missed the 10.5:1 compression. I say do the S3's..
More power across the board? Or more peak?

Considering that Aaron builds race engine. Power and is still broad enough..

Also, I found this graph from Tscompusa, same setup (basically) as my car, except S3's instead of S2's, and more power..

I would recommend on any Stock frame turbo to use Either S1 or S2. Right now I have S1's and they run almost like stock, drop in, and give a FAT mid range. They do fall off up top however so an S2 upgrade is in my future. S3's I will stand by as a dip in the mid range and yes more peak power. I prefer a FAT curve vs peaky.

I hate to respond because a lot of others already did, but since my one graph was posted in here I will since it sent me an email saying I was mentioned in the thread. (also that graph AFR lol that gauge must of been off).

Both cams will work just fine. If you are really picky on what RPM you see full boost then the S2 is going to spool quicker then the S3 with that setup. If you don't mind a little lag for more power and a faster car in general then S3.

I never driven a FP Red 2.0L with S3 cams so i cant comment really. The closest to that was a EF2.5 with S3 and it was still very snappy.

From the tests I have seen and from GSC itself, the difference shows that the S2 would be a better choice for a stock frame turbo in terms of mid range and more power under the curve. S3's would be more laggy and less power until peak, certainly less torque. However in the absolute top-end the S3 would hold the advantage. Shorter power band for sure.

Larger turbo? S3 no question. For me and my RED I'll go S2.

Thanks for all the responses and first hand info, looks like I'll go with the S2s again. They worked well last time I had them. Looking to keep the car a street monster basically, I think I'll give away a little too end for a quicker spool and low end torque. It's a horse a piece really.
