time for a new clutch
time for a new clutch
I have an 03 evo 8 with bolt on exhaust, a cold air intake, and a piggy back computer. I plan on putting more into it in the future such as cams, exhaust manifold bigger turbo. I was just wondering if I should put a stage one clutch or stage two clutch in so when I do put those parts on with a tune I won't have to replace the clutch. I was planning to go with a single disk exedy clutch and fly wheel.
Is your current clutch slipping? If not don't replace it if you don't need to yet, my stocker lasted for a long time with full bolt-ons at around 340 wtq.
Clutch recommendations will really depend on what kind of bigger turbo you plan on going to eventually. You should figure that out first, then you can see which clutches will be adequate for the torque you expect to be making.
