Evo gsr cams vs GT-A

Do the Evo 7 GSRs have higher degree cams than the evo 7 GT-A??

Reason i ask is because ive got GSR cams sitting at home, along with a evo 9 turbo. Thought id get more out of the turbo without compromising bottom end response if i went GSR cams rather than 272s/264s.

I couldnt find any definitive answers so id thought id ask here.

Cheers.

Edit: Oh and if they are the same (gsr vs gta), should i even bother upgrading cams? Only planning on hitting 270-300whp on e85.

If those are HKS cams they don't lose much down low RPM if any at all. Upper RPM gains will be much better over stock ones.

I am not quite sure about the cam for GSR and GTA. However, my 7 GSR stock with POD filter and 3'' TBE dyno at 300whp on 98. I am pretty sure that if you have the Evo 9 turbo, you should even get more than 300whp on 98.

Oh really? I already have a turbo back exhaust and a HKS panel filter with upgraded turbo side intake. Main reason i wanted cams was so the 9 turbo wont be too laggy with a non-mivec motor + auto trans. Hence why im also going e85, to get that fatter power band and better throttle response. But yea if you got 300whp with your turbo on 98 then ive got my answer! Thanks mate.

...starting to think the 9 turbo was a major overkill, should of saved the pennies and bought a standard GSR turbo

The IX turbo will not be laggy. You'll see full boost around 3500...
