HTA 3582r on E85 with right fuel setup will yield mid-700's. 86 will get into the mid-700's to low 800's

if you go with a HTA I'd suggest switching to a TiAL hotside.

mine is at 591 with just a regular non hta 35r.

but I am working on upgrading few things.
just got a ets 3.5 " intercooler

just trying to figure out if I can upgrade my turbo to hta 3586 or hta 3582r only? and is it worth the $700 for how much more power?
If you look at his set up though, you will notice he ran only 27PSI to reach that number on E85 which leads me to believe he was out of fuel. Single Walbro 450 is about maxing out around 600-650 depending on how efficient the set up and fuel system is. I bet with another pump he could easily squeeze another 100 out of it.

Yes my pump was nearly maxed, was at around 93% and my tuner pulled the plug there. Easily another 100 sitting there once I upgrade my fueling a little more.

Are you sticking with your 2.0? I'd go .82 personally if staying with the 2.0. I'd imagine the 1.06 would yield a little more power up top but yes at the expense of spool. The more experienced guys would know more than me on that topic. I'd reason though that a 2.0 with a 3586 w/1.06 hotside would probably not be a fun street car, just would be laggy and no off-boost power. What's your goal with your car? Strip car?

just street/ weekend. roll racing at tracks. i cant imagine it being any more lag than mine now.
doing the hta upgrade should make it spool quicker than now but with a 1.06 ar hoising it
should balance out if anything i think. im staying with the 2.0 dont mine lag. rather have a bit more top end and cand rev higher if keep making power. if thats what the 1.06 ar will do.

Stick with .82. Dont expect anything magical spoolwise with hta.

what options do I have to upgrade it or beef it up?

theres a HTA upgrade? im not to clear on still researching.

can I bolt up a bigger ex housing anyone make one?

can it be mated to like a 40r hot side ?

any input id appreciated it. I don't know a lot about turbos.
Your numbers are in line with what should be expected from that size turbo. A regular 35r flows ~60lbs/min, which is about 600hp worth of turbo. If you upgrade to a GTX3582r this will give you about 150hp more worth of compressor wheel as it flows ~75lbs/min.
