odyssey PC680 problems
I have an Oydyssey PC680 mini battery and its less than a year old.
It doesn't seem to have great CCA after it sits for a few minutes 30+ minutes and the starter will just click when trying to start again. i will have to jump start my car or have to be push started.
does anyone else have this problem with the batter? does anyone know any batteries equivalent to it that performs better!?
i might just put a normal size battery back in and relocate it to the trunk..really getting tired of it "dying"

I've been on the same PC680 battery for years.
More than likely you have a draw on the battery even when shut down. Could be a short or something still on or running while your car is off.
Troubleshooting steps:
1. Take the battery to autozone/napa/pepboys/wherever and have them do a test of the battery.
2. Use a multimeter to determine parasitic draw on the battery while the car is off. If you're seeing a lot of current here, pull a fuse and see if it changes. If it doesn't change, put the fuse back in and move to the next one. Continue until you find a fuse that changes. This is the system that is drawing on the battery. Troubleshoot that specific system.

Agree with above. Get it checked. But most likely parasitic drain.
The Evo as most modern cars has parasitic draw when sitting. The solution to that, regardless of battery, is a trickle charger if it is not used regularly.
I have had the same PC680 in another car that sees only seasonal use since 2007. It is equipped with a cut-off switch. It will not drain significantly sitting the whole winter and fire up instantly even without a charge. Turn-over is slightly lame though ... always has been.
