Hey there new member here
Been having problems with me Evo

Will run fine till I take it to higher rpm's it won't go past 5,000 rpm as if it had a rev limiter or something
Don't know what the issue it

Mostly stock only mods are my fuel as I'm running e85
And synapse BOV

If anyone could help me would be great

 

Is it like jerky feeling around 5K? Could be faulty spark plugs,ignition cables or coils. Have any friends so you can swap and check? What does your wide band say and at what boost level this happens ?

 

yes jerky would be the best way to describe it
Yeah spark plugs seem to be brought up everytime I search about it, will get them replaced as soon as I can

No I do not, it's the first Evo/turbo car I've ownded so I'm pretty much new to this whole boost thing

 

Could be valet or rev limiter. What are those set to?

 

I don't think it could be a rev limiter as the car jerks a bit but then goes past the high Rpm just feels as if the car is forcing itself after that
