I was wondering what size and spec t3-t4 would match up good for the EVO. What trim and what stage level turbine would be good for up to 400-450 whp? Any guys with previous experience with DSM's should be able to recommend one. Thanks!

I like the GT35R. Granted it will probably have terrible lag, but the power will be awesome. Also with better cams a better flowing intake/head should also help out.
I also like the new Greddy 67 kit that has came out for our cars.

I'd go for .63 hot side with stage 3 wheel and T04E 54 or 57 trim on the cold side. This should give you a decent spool and enough flow for your power goals.

What kind of spool might one expect from a setup such as this?

The classic solution is the T04E 50 trim in the T04E compressor cover with a stage 3 T3 turbine wheel in a .63 or .48 t3 exhaust housing.

Depending on your compression and tuning, I'd say you should see 15+ psi between 3500-4000 rpm, after that it should hit real hard.

Cool.

I needed to throw something into this thread to revive it. Thanks.

Actually, I do have one more question.

Does anyone think the stock FMIC could handle the heat from one of the above turbos? They're not too much larger than stock and the stock unit looks pretty nice. I believe there are DSM guys running our size FMIC and smaller with these turbos, correct?

You can get away with it, but it won't be optimal.

Because this turbo is more efficient than stock one, it will actually have a cooler charge. The stock IC does restrict flow though. To get the full advantage of a bigger turbo, get a bigger, hi flow, efficiant intercooler, (and 2 1/2" IC piping would also help).
