TC dust cover loose, how is it secured?

The dust cover at the end of the transfer case, where the driveshaft connects (called the Guard, T/F Extension Housing Dust Seal in ASA), on my Evo is loose and rattles constantly. How is that secured onto the transfer case? I played with it for a little bit but it never felt secure and I'm sure that as soon as I start driving it will be rattling all over the place again. Any help is appreciated!

It's only a press fit on.

So if it keeps coming loose even if tapped all the way on with a soft face hammer you could try and epoxy it on.
