I'm working on my Evo V head right now and while cleaning the valves I noticed that they have "TAE" printed at the top of each stem. No other markings. Are these OEM or aftermarket?

My OEM 8 valves have no marking on the tip of the stem. A quick google search doesn't bring up anything automotive related though. Probably aftermarket though..

From what I have seen the OEM valves have raised markings on the face of the valve. Min don't, they just have TAE printed at the top of the stem.

Is it just a stamp? I know TAE is a salvage parts company out of Tampa and they sell a ton of used stripped EVO parts

Maybe not related but I wouldn't rule it out. May be worth the phone call

Thanks for the reply! Before I bought it the car sat untouched for the better part of a decade. I checked out that site and they were established back in 2009, whatever valves are in it were from before that.
