Hey guys, have a question about a strange electrical clicking sound coming from the left side of my dash. If I dip into the throttle, i can hear a clicking sound coming from the gauge cluster / fuse box area. It only happens when I hit the gas. It sounds like a solenoid clicking or a relay clicking. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I just recently had a Walbro 255, ID 1000's and an EBC installed and the sound seemed to start up after that.. Normal or no?

 

Possible that you are hearing the ebcs turning on/off.

 

 

This sounds like the IACV (idle air control valve) clicking sound. I would suggest data logging the steps for the IACV to see if they are normal.

 

It shouldnt be Fuel Pump Relay #2 because that is supposed to stay on unless CAS sensor stops sending signal. If you think is clicking, switch that relay and the intercooler sprayer relay under it and see if clicks go away.
