02 hood exit dump

How much exhaust should be coming out of my hood dump at idle? I know it's just metal to metal seal on the gate but mine is pretty loud at idle just wondering if this is normal, thanks

It should be pretty minimal. Did you use a divided gasket when you installed the new O2 housing?

No I used the stock gasket that's why it must be leaking out through the exhaust side into the waste gate side the gasket was damaged in shipping, thanks for the information

Change that gasket ASAP, you won't be gaining much power if you dont
