MBC to Stock Boost Solenoid Conversion

Hey guys I'm pulling an MBC off my car to convert back to the stock boost setup so I went and bought the factory vacuum hose assembly and I just have a quick question.

So the line leads from the boost control solenoid towards the turbo nipple on the compressor housing, and then the part that tees off (and has red paint on the end of the hose) goes on the wastegate nipple right?
And then the line from the boost control solenoid with the white dashes on it goes towards the air intake tube right?

Just want to make sure I have this setup right thanks guys

It sounds about right. Make sure the restrictor pill is still in the line.

I believe it is indeed still in. However I just installed an Evo 9 turbo onto my Evo 8 and converted to this setup and only boosted at about 15 pounds and held it until redline (well actually until the car lost power but that's a separate issue lol). Does that boost level actually seem normal for a warm night? It felt pretty powerful but idk. I am almost positive that there is no boost leak in the system, I've checked and rechecked every line

Yeah stock boost setting will settle down to about 15 PSI near redline.

Alright thanks for answering about the boost. I was suspicious when it wouldn't rise above 15-16 psi but it definitely didn't drop below that level.

That diagram though introduces a bit of confusion to me because the part I received from the dealer and installed on my car looks like this:

Where I have the hose with the red paint at the bottom going towards the wastegate and the line above it going onto the turbo

The diagram visually shows a Evo 10 hose but the connections still apply.

Section with red mark goes to WGA. Section with one clamp in the mid of the hose (with boost pill) goes compressor outlet and the other side with two smaller hoses goes to the boost solenoid and induction tube.

Have you checked your ROM to see if the boost tables are stock settings or tuned, or zeroed out?

So as long as I have that configuration correct, it doesn't quite matter where the T in the line is or anything?

Interesting you mention the rom because I finally did a full pull last night and if I stomp on it around 3500 rpm in third gear the gauge will shoot to above 20 psi. And in a fourth gear pull it'll boost up to about 19 and hold it until redline. Which definitely doesn't seem stock to me even though I have that stock configuration I showed and described earlier. I'm not aware of how to check the ROM but that seems to be the next step to see just how the boost is being controlled
