I am about to press in the new TB shaft seals from mil.spec. I was wondering which way to press them in. On the how-to I read it looked like they installed it the opposite way they said to. Should the rubber be towards the inside of the throttle body, or should the copper be towowards the inside?

 

Been a while since I've done mine, but I'm pretty certain the rubber seal side went towards the throttle body.

 

Yup rubber side goes in towards the throttle body, I just used a socket and hammered mine in, just be sure it goes in straight or it'll leak.
