Knocking sound from timing belt side

I am having a knocking sound that comes from the timing belt side of the engine during decel. I mainly hear it while coming to a stop or slowing down at low speeds. It doesn't make a difference if the A/C is on or not. The timing belt and balance was changed around 80k, it has 103k on it right now. It doesn't make a sound at idle or any other time, also the sound doesn't seem to change with the speed of the engine like getting faster or slower but since it happens at such a low rpm I may not be hearing it long enough to tell if it changes.

Update: I'm thinking that this has something to do with the suspension noise that I am having. New bushings are in and ready to install so that should solve all of this.

Mods please lock this thread. There is no engine noise. Its a rattle on the subframe. The noise is same at any rpm and any speed so that eliminates the engine and transmission.
