boost issues
LOL. Datz interesting. That is an odd bird. At any rate to boost over 23# you are gonna have to increase WG spring pressure. 13# of spring pressure plus the additional 10# increase that the WGA allows results in 23# boost max.
Since the ATP actuator rod is so hacked up and jerry rigged...I would think that you would need to remove the entire actuator assembly and adjust it on your shop bench. You can't freely spin the actuator rod w/o removing it from the turbo.
So remove the WGA. And we can then take it from there. We need to tighten the WGA ay least 5 full 360* rotations. This might get you up to 17-18# of sring pressure. Which might allow you to boost up to about 27# peak. Another option might be to add on an external helper spring.
But first we should try adjusting that ultra funky ATP actuator assembly as tight as possible to see if this will allow you to boost fairly close to your desired 30# peak.
Otherwise, you may have to buy an FP 25# actuator so as to replace that wimpy ATP cannister with a cannister that has a stronger internal spring and diaphragm. But, this would require cutting and rewelding the actuator rod.
