What is the best turbo upgrade for the evo 4 iv heard it's the evo 9 20 glt?

 

Depends what you are looking for out of the car. Fun street car, straight line car, autocross, road racing, a mix of several or all? Any particular power goals also?

 

Kinda just a happy medium I've done front mount, fuel rail ,255 fuel pump, evo 5 ecu, 710 injectors boost control and boost gauge that's it so far

 

Hoping to get 500 out of it at some point

If you wanted to go with the 20g(52.6mm x 68mm), its good for around 415 hp, or 480hp on e85(31psi). Or you could take it up to an ef3(56mm), 500+hp> gtx3076r(58mmx76), 25g(60.5mm x 78mm), ef4(60 x 82mm).if you go with the 500hp size turbo you should go evo9 turbo.

 

500hp, Look into an FP 71hta, or a blouch 1.0XT if your car fits the Evo 9 stock frame turbos..

 

The td05 turbine is no good for 500hp. Not sure where that came from. There is one freak out there, but overall it is too small for that kind of power.

 

Some one specifically asked if he wants 500hp or 500WHP. Then he soecifically answered 500hp, NOT 500whp. An Evo 16g will make 500hp at the crank. And the blouch 1.0 doesn't use a stock turbine..
