Need service limit on block surface flatness.

I'm getting my head serfaced cause it's a few thousandths out and I can't seem to find the service limit on the block.
I don't want to waste effort putting a flat head on a bad block and don't want to remove and tear down the block for machine work if it's not necessary.
Thanks in advance.

a used block is never flat. and they all warp in the same spot. only a remachined block will ever measure flat from what I have seen.
