I can't seem to find any info on whether or not Evo 8 shafts will fit an Evo 4? Are the splines the same? Different lengths?

Any help?

 

if you are referring to half shafts. yes the splines are the same. 8 shafts are tad longer but people do use them in the 4 platform.

I'm referring to the front inner shafts so yeah the half shafts I guess. Are these ok to use as is? Or do you need to modify to suit? Will the extra length make any difference to the drive of car etc?

So i sourced some e8 shafts and one e4 shaft, the front two are the e8 and the back on is e4
