Hey everyone, so over the past week I have had my car ripped apart in the garage installing an fp evogreen and various other things. All in the hope that I can take it to Ivey tune by at least next Friday, have injectors and a ebc installed, and have him tune it.

Long story short, I cleaned the throttle body because it was sticking severely and now I can see a very clear ring of light around the entire throttle plate even though I was careful.

So it's the weekend and ordering something online is kind of out of the question. While I am not to knowledgable in this subject I noticed all of the other threads used a moly type of dry lubricant. I would just order the exact stuff they used on other threads, but as I said I really want to get this done Monday so I can make my appointment. Just want to know if any of you guys have any knowledge on this and if you think this would work fine. Thank you! -Brian

 

I cant get your link but any dry Moly will work, some bicycle shops have it in stock, its whats used on chains.

 

This is what I use for the throttle body...once dry its good to go, no leaks past plate

fastenal will have a product called CRC Industrial dry moly lubricant if there is a fastenal near you for like $15. Its in a green can and worked for me when i did this by accident. Its also the only place i could find it other than online and for like $80 a can as well.
