Half-Size/Forward Facing AC Condenser Kit: All the details you need to know

I've been building half-sized AC condenser kits for the last 2 years and I get so many PMs about the setup, I wanted to post here with all the details for anyone who is curious.

-They come with everything you need to install, no other parts/hardware hunting required.
-Kits fit with any forward facing turbo kit as long as you can still fit your OEM AC compressor.
-Condenser bolts into place in front of the half rad just like factory, using oem mounting points and pre-configured brackets.
-The hoses (3 included) connect to your existing AC plumbing with factory spec AC fittings.
-System holds roughly 16 ounces of R134a refrigerant.
-AC blows like factory. I'm honestly still blown away by how well it works given we cut the condenser surface area in half.
- The cars DO NOT overheat. This was the biggest concern of mine in the very beginning. With a Koyo half sized radiator (or equivalent) and a quality fan, I haven't had anyone with lasting overheating issues. I have guys in Puerto Rico, Australia, Panama, and here in the States up and down the hot and humid east coast running these kits without a problem.

Here are some pics to show the hose routing, condenser placement, and anything else you may have been curious about. Hopefully this helps with questions you guys may have.

The biggest deal breaker about a FF kit was the ac not working or the kit making the car over heat. Glad to see it works good as I'm in south Florida.

I'll be in touch when I make the switch

cool man.

i've built several FF kits for other cars (non evos) and we've done the same thing to retain A/C.....you dont want to loose A/c in my country haha...way too hot and humid.

thanks guys, glad you like it! Yes the entire reason for me pushing for these systems in the beginning was because I know how many people want to go FF but live in places that are just too hot to do so without AC.

This page is only for informing everyone about the kit/details (strict vendor rules) but I recently became a vendor on here and started a group buy page for them. Check out my vendor account name EVD_COMP to get to the thread.

Kit works. I was one of the first. I had other issues happening that were plaguing me with problems (unrelated to the kit). Alex is a good guy with a great product.

What FF manifold are you running on the Evo that's in the pictures. Trying to figure out what FF manifold I'm going to get for my Evo since I'm planing on keeping AC aswell.

This is great work and it is superb quality. How long is the group buy going to last. I want to go ff next year so I might just bite the bullet and get this before I sell my current setup.

Thanks! One of the first systems that paved the way to where we are now!

Pictured is a JDL divided t4 kit. I've never had a kit not fit, however I have had to add a few inches to a discharge hose to clear a compressor housing that was positioned really close to the headlight. Adding a little length is no issue though.

thank you! I haven't had a ton of luck with the vendor forums on here, so I may not be a vendor much longer (it can get expensive). I appreciate you posting the link. For anyone who is interested, you can always reach me via email (evolvedcomponents@gmail.com) or PM under this screen name as well.

thank you! Group buy will stay that price till the end of September, but I think I'm going to offer them for only $50 more on a regular basis to EvoM members. Let me know if there's anything you need, happy to help!
