Factory boost solenoid still connected?????

So I noticed my factory boost control solenoid is still connected with the electrical plug but of course there are no vacuum lines connected since I'm running an aftermarket boost controller, would this cause any issues, should I just disconnect the electrical plug, what you guys with after market boost controllers doing with this? reference the below thread for picture of the part, only difference is mine is the IX, but same exact part and part number

Just leave it hooked up. You'll get a check engine light of you unplug. It's not doing anything just sitting there..

i was wondering if it would throw the light, yea it's been like this for awhile, so guess it's not hurting anything, it's kind of weird that it doesn't throw a light for being connected with no vacuum lines running to it

Some of the checks the ECU does just amount to "is it there?".
