Evo 9 lean at high rpm after Walbro 255 install

I just got back from a tuning session with disappointing results. My tuner told me the car was leaning out at high rpm and the IDC's were hitting 108%. I only have basic bolt ons (intake, catless downpipe and licp) and I installed a walbro 255 just as room to breathe. He suspects the o-ring seal might be poor and is leaking pressure up top. Any other ideas? I'm gonna pull the pump to see if I missed something. I put it in with the install kit so it has a new strainer. Car runs fine otherwise.

Yeah. What you mentioned is the most popular failure at higher fuel pressure. Get you a fresh rubber grommet.

Are you still on stock injectors or aftermarket?
