Evo 8, plan to change turbo.

Evo 9 stock turbo or Tomei Arm M7960 ?
What good and bad for both turbo ?

Tomei turbo is not that great. Been proven to not be very reliable. My vote is a IX turbo and get the forced performance 71hta upgrade. Best bang for buck turbo there is for this car.

i would pay a little more and go with a blouch 1.0xt

Or pay a little little more and get the 1.0XTR all are better options than the ARMS

I'm not sure why you've put these two in comparison as they are very different turbos.
E9 turbo is only slightly bigger than an E8's, while the Tomei is 20G sized, two sizes larger than both E8/E9. With a good tune we could have around 40HP more with the Tomei over the E9. Unlike what's mentioned earlier, it's a very reliable, high quality product, & it's competitively priced nowadays at around $1300. It's main drawback is being a journal bearing rather than BB, which makes a relatively slow spooler.
