Cool currently around 450 whp, but want more

As stated in the title of this thread, i currently am running around 450 whp on my evo 8 and am looking to make more horsepower. I can add a list of upgrades and maybe yall can tell me what i would need to do to reach 600 awhp and beyond? Is it possible to have that kind of power and still be a reliable daily driver? Please respond

So it's not a stock block. You're turbo will support over 600whp. Get a new tune and make the switch to E85

I am on e85 running approx 28-32 psi boost. But i want more. I was told it has 1000cc injectors, but was told by a local expert that maybe they switched those back to stock for more driveability. So im looking to gain another 150 ho at the wheels, but how

You're gonna need bigger injectors, at least 1450cc. You're injectors are holding you back if you're on E85

I was afraid of that, at least injectors arent too expensive, what else may be holding me back? If i get the bigger injectors would i have to get it re-tuned? I am also looking for new suspension parts, currently running ohlins coilovers with cusco camber plates but my upper strut mounts are blown on both sides and im thinking that the only real way to fix this is to buy new/ upgrade current setup. Any suggestions on what would be comparable for the money? Cost efficiency and performance are a must, not looking to throw a cheap set that will give out within the next 20k miles. Also, current motor has a 4g64 crank in it. Theres very little left stock on this motor. I just want more power or do i need to take it to the tuning shop to address how to get more?

It has a 4G64 crank because it is a 2.3L

Very good, thanks for the help, any idea on a not-too pricey- decent suspension kit? Ive found 100cc injectors for around 400 bucks, thats not bad, now if the6 were around 4000 i would say they are put of the wuestion

something is waay off here. a 2.3 liter engine ,GTX3582R on E85 and 30lbs boost. but only making 450whp? something is not adding up. sure the 1000cc injectors are waay too small. 30lbs on E85 should be at 600whp. 18lbs of boost is enough to make 450whp with that turbo.

Yea, i was told before i bought it that it was built to handle 600+ awhp but was "detuned" to 456.5 awhp for reliability and driveability. I took it to the tuning shop that originally tuned it and since they had tuned it, the owner had a few things changed so the tuning shop said there would need to be some major changes, like injectors, standalone ecu and tune, and some other small things. But it sounds reasonbly do-able. Also, i know it may be something with the tune but any idea why i would get a fuel cut in 5th gear from about 3750 to 4500 rpm? I get great boost from 1st through 4th up to around 120 mph then i go into 5th and floor it and as soon as boost starts to build and kick in the wastegate starts to open and power drops off, any idea why?

Sounds like you need new injectors and a tune. I recommend grabbing a set of ID1700cc injectors or ID2000 injectors depending on your fuel choice.
